Trascar consolidates its presence in the handling and packaging of film reels for flexible packaging by acquiring an important order from Wipak Gryspeert (France): the supply includes a centralized and fully automatic solution for reels sealing and palletization and will be installed in 2022.

Wipak Gryspeert specializes in low-gauge, medium- and high-barrier multilayer films with excellent machinability, protective qualities, and visual properties for fresh food packaging. Wipak Gryspeert is part of Wipak Group, a global supplier of packaging solutions and services for food products as well as for medical devices and pharmaceutical products.

The centralized solution proposed by Trascar, which is composed of two robots including smart vision systems and three automatic packaging machines, is able to pack and palletize about 200 reels/hour, all coming from the slitting department made up of seven slitter rewinders. The pallet is composed, weighed, packed and labeled according to the requests of the end Customers, thanks to the information transmitted by Wipak’s ERP to the Trascar palletizing system.

The Trascar solution, in addition to high productivity, allows to obtain a qualified and fully tracked and certified process, a reduction in space for palletizing operations, an optimized and controlled internal logistic and a work environment with full safety compliance.
