HOLYART

Holyart chooses Trascar for its new automated warehouse

Thanks to the entrepreneurial spirit of Stefano Zanni, CEO and co-founder along with Gabriele Guatteri, Holyart was established in 2006 as an e-commerce site aimed at managing the remaining inventory of a religious goods store that was about to close. Within a few years, the company became the European leader in the online sale of religious items and sacred art, closing 2022 with a turnover of over 15 million euros.

We want to do good, and we want to do it well

The warehouse management, which was little more than manual, was becoming a limitation in recent years due to the brand’s growing notoriety and increased order volumes. To ensure the effectiveness of processes from stocking to delivery, driven by the company slogan “We want to do good, and we want to do it well” and with a strong focus on customer satisfaction, Holyart’s decision-makers entrusted Trascar in 2021 with the creation of an automated warehouse capable of managing the exponential business growth.

Today, driving along the A1 highway near Reggio Emilia, it’s impossible not to notice Holyart’s brand-new warehouse. Just a few months after the implementation of Trascar’s solution, the it manages over 100 orders per day to more than 160 countries, 70.000 items in stock, and a total inventory of 1.2 million pieces.

From Greenfield to High Automation

The solution implemented by Trascar in Holyart’s 10.000 square meter warehouse includes an automated system for handling packages, a packaging machine designed to meet the most modern and high standards of eco-compatibility through volume optimization, resulting in raw material savings, and a complex stock and picking tower managed by a stacker crane system for buffering the boxes.

“The Customer had a clear understanding of their needs and business developments. From our first meeting, we analysed requests and the provided data regarding the volumes to be managed. Being able to propose a complex project within a completely new building gave us the opportunity to create a system that optimizes stock volumes and maximizes the use of the warehouse’s internal space”

States Luca Verucchi, Sales Manager of Trascar S.p.A.

“Today, thanks to the solution implemented by Trascar, we have a semi-automated management of our warehouse that has brought significant efficiency. We have eliminated repetitive daily tasks, allowing our staff to focus on higher value-added work. Additionally, we are proud to send all over the world the best of Made in Italy production in the religious articles and sacred art, ensuring the best customer experience for our Customers”

Concludes Pietro Ferrari, Operations Director of Holyart.
